Pastor Murray

Pastor Garry Murray is the founder of Perpetual Praise Fellowship Church of God, which is currently located at 8237 Lisbon Road in Clarkton, NC. He is the son of the late Elder Stacy and Pearlee Murray. He is married to Elect Lady Connie Murray and they have been blessed with 2 sons, Gary II and Brandon.

Pastor Murray is the product of a family which enjoys a rich history of anointed preachers, evangelists and pastors.

Pastor Murray completed his elementary education in the Fayetteville City Schools. He graduated from Reid Ross, Sr. High School in 1981. He also graduated from Fayetteville State University in 1988, earning a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration, with 2 minors in management in accounting. He is also a graduate of the Minister’s Internship Program which is offered by the Church of God School of Ministry, based in Cleveland, Tennessee. Pastor Murray received his Masters Degree in Religious Studies from Beacon Institute of Ministry. Pastor Murray is an Ordained Minister with the Church of God.

Pastor Murray’s approach to ministry is one of practical application. His focus is providing correct biblical application to the everyday things that God’s people have to deal with in life. His heart goes out to the abused, rejected, and hurting in society; those that feel they are at the end of their road and have run out of people and places to turn to. Pastor Murray believes that a life committed to Jesus Christ is the answer. He believes that adopting a godly approach in all matters of life is essential to overcoming such issues.

It is this belief and the God ordained call on Pastor Murray’s life that encourages him to utilize the gifts that God has graciously given him to make a difference in the world and the kingdom of God.
